Veritas RCM LLC is a Business Associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the HITECH Act. We provide revenue cycle management services to covered healthcare entities and handle Protected Health Information (PHI) on their behalf.
The forms on this website and text messaging are not secure channels for Protected Health Information. Please do not transmit PHI, patient identifiers, or clinical details through this website or by text message. Veritas RCM LLC will not request PHI by text message. PHI exchanged in the course of contracted services is handled through secure channels governed by a Business Associate Agreement.
In the event of a breach of Unsecured PHI, we notify the affected Covered Entity within thirty (30) calendar days of discovery, in accordance with 45 C.F.R. § 164.410.
You may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights, at www.hhs.gov/ocr. We will never retaliate against any person for filing a complaint.
